Love It
An archive of things we’ve loved, just in case you missed it.
We’d been using an old Tupperware butter dish until we came across this beautiful number designed by Jens Quistgaard for Nissen Denmark. The retro mustard yellow glaze looks incredible against the teak lid and the Relief pattern of leaves adds a really pretty graphic element.
This graphic Cathrineholm bowl may be a little chipped and scratched, but it’s perfect for eating chips from while watching Lost on tv.
You may recognize this Tapio Wirkkala Pollo Vase from the Machine Age Modern store watch post. We’d been coveting this delicate and subtle vase for awhile…
John was obsessed with the Kaj Franck mushroom bowl, but at xmas, so was everyone else. So I surprised him with a more rare Kaj Franck pot with amazing fish illustrations.
We finally bought an Erik Magnussen vaccuum jug, made by Stelton Denmark. It keeps coffee hot for HOURS. Like I’m talking 6 hours. You can pick them up new at Quasi Modo on Queen West for $89 (we got ours used at Rogue Gallery).
Textile pattern by Astrid Sempe. Made in Sweden.
